DIY & Live Craft Corners

The DIY & Live Craft Corners invite students and visitors to engage directly with the process of creation. From weaving and embroidery to jewelry-making, painting, and crafts, these interactive corners bring heritage techniques and modern innovation together. Participants not only watch but also try their hands at making something unique, guided by artisans and student creators.

Participation

  • Open to: All visitors and students .

  • Materials: Provided on-site by Zenraa and participating artisans.

  • Duration: Each DIY session will run for 30–45 minutes.

  •  Student volunteers and artisans will assist participants.

Learn simple stitches and weaving patterns.

Participation Rules

Participation Guidelines –
 
1. Materials Provided:
  • All necessary tools and materials will be supplied by Zenraa and partner artisans.
  • Participants are responsible for using materials carefully and sustainably.
 2. Creation Ownership:
  • Finished DIY creations can be taken home by participants as a memory.
  • Works cannot be resold or claimed as commercial products.

3. Slots & Registration:

  • Limited slots per session; participation is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Pre-registration may be required for certain workshops.

4. Presence & Respect:

  • Those who wish to participate must be present at the scheduled time to secure their slot.
  • Follow artisan/mentor guidance during activities.
  • Ensure tools and materials are used safely at all times.

Rules & Regulations

  • Slots are limited; participation is first-come, first-serve.
  • All materials provided must be used responsibly.
  • Finished works are for participants to keep (not for resale).
  • Respect the artisans’ guidance and fellow participants.
  • Presence on event day is mandatory for registered volunteers.
